Use special AP-CBL-SERU, JY728A 3.3V TTL serial cable

Ordering the cable is the easiest and simplest way but if you want to do it yourself (DYI), see cable pin out info below:
The EAP104 console port has a micro-USB interface. It’s a proprietary cable and not standard accessory. You will need a USB UART TTL to micro-usb console cable like below.
The pin definition is as below.
Refer to “Console Board pin connection” definition for the console cable.
Pin | Name | Color | EAP104 pin connection | Console Board Pin Connection |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | VCC | Red | 3.3V | 3.3V |
2 | D- | White | UART_RXD0 | 3V_TX_1 |
3 | D+ | Green | UART_TXD0 | 3V_RX_1 |
4 | ID | Yellow | GND | NA |
5 | GND | Black | GND | GND |
A handmade workaround is to combine a USB to UART TTL adapter plus a micro-B connector.
